Pouring in the Points

Big Al continues to rack up points on the scoreboard and the wins are getting closer for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Al and the Wolves took the Toronto Raptors to the limit on Monday night, but were unable to escape their home floor with a victory over the Raps.
Al scored 22 points and pulled in seven rebounds as the Wolves lost to the Raptors 106-100. No. 25 shot 9 of 16 from the field and a perfect four of four from the free throw line. Al had to fight through double teams all night but was still effective, as noted by Jonah Ballow of Timberwolves.com notes:
"Early in the game, Al Jefferson was highly effective, scoring on a spectacular spin move past Bosh on the second possession of the game. Jefferson posted a game-high 22 points and grabbed seven boards as the Raptors tried a double-team approach to slow down the Wolves big man."
Big Al also registered a block, two steals and an assist in 34-and-a-half minutes on the floor. But Al continues to have a huge impact in the scoring column, where he tallied double digits for his 23rd straight game.
Al also had 14 points, nine rebounds and three blocks on Sunday as the Wolves fell to the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center.
