Big Al to Host Free Camp

Al Jefferson will be wrapping up the month of July with his second annual basketball camp -- a camp that he has made free as a gift to the children of his hometown.

At the Al Jefferson Youth Basketball Camp, held at Prentiss High School in Prentiss, Mississippi, campers will receive hours of fundamental basketball skills instruction, a camp T-shirt and other “Big Al” gear. Al’s hope is to reach out to his community to encourage young athletes to maintain a positive outlook both on and off the court through sports.

No. 25 will also be honored with a court dedication at the Prentiss High School Gym, which will be attended by city officials, campers, and members of the public.
